Francois Hollande orders release of woman after she served three years for shooting her husband, who abused her and her children for decades French President Francois Hollande has pardoned a woman who was jailed for 10 years for killing her husband after he abused her for decades. "In the face of an exceptional human situation, the president wanted to make it possible for (Jacqueline) Sauvage to return to her family as soon as possible," the presidency said in a statement.
